House Rules

How we keep it fun.

This is about the kids and the friendships. Three roles, one standard — respect the game, the umpires, and each other.

For Parents & Spectators

  • Cheer for your team. Never against the other team or the umpires.
  • Trust your coach. Coaching from the stands creates confused players.
  • Disputes go through the head coach — never directly to umpires or opposing coaches.
  • Keep language and gestures appropriate. Players hear everything.
  • Respect the venue: clean up your area, use trash cans, no alcohol on grounds.
  • Be a model of good sportsmanship. Your kid is watching.

Quick Answers

What other parents ask.

How were teams formed?

We look at a few factors. First is sign-up time — we like folks who sign up early. Then we look at pitchers and catchers; we had to move quite a few kids around because some teams just simply didn't have enough catchers and/or pitchers. Then we also look at competitive balance. Lastly, we try to keep kids at certain schools together so one kid isn't a floater. It's not a perfect science, and we do our best.

How was the schedule made?

We tried to schedule it competitively so no team went 0–2 if we could avoid that. But this is still youth baseball and things happen. Ultimately we want this to be a competitively fair tournament where everyone feels like they had a shot to go deep in bracket play.

What time should we arrive?

Please be early. If we can start games early, we will.

Can I bring outside food and coolers?

Yes. Coolers and outside food/drinks are typically allowed at Parks at Texas Star. Concessions are also available on-site.

What happens if there's a weather delay?

The alert ribbon at the top of this page updates with weather holds and field changes. You can also opt in for SMS alerts below.

Are the photos really free?

Yes. The photos in our gallery are free for parents to download at full resolution. Geis Photography offers separate paid posed sessions if you want professional team or individual portraits.

How do I find my team's field?

Field assignments are in the live Exposure Events schedule embedded above. Cross-check with the on-site board when you arrive — assignments occasionally shift due to weather.

Where do I park?

What's the refund policy?
